Charles, Found you on Youtube! Just purchased a 2007 Chevy Avalanche with a 7th Cylinder Misfire code. Researching it looks like it will be a stuck lifter like your video shows. My question having not owned a Chevy before: If I unstick the lifter with your tool, and use a Range to keep it in 8 Cylinder mode, do I have to do the BLOCK on the VLOM? Very curious. Also, you recommend doing the full delete, how much do you charge for that? I could probably do it but have little time. Just fixing the Lifter will be enough of a headache with my schedule. LOL. Great job on the videos. Haven't had a chance to watch them all. Thanks a bunch. I'm up in Huron, SD.

I know we talked on the phone already but for those who may find this post I'll reply anyway. I personally recommend lt1swsp.com or any actual tune out of the AFM over any one of those gimmicky disabler devices. I recommend this for several reasons. For starters it could be bumped and not connected completely at the OBD2 port, the fuse could blow that powers the OBD2 port, and on top of that for the people who get emissions testing they can't leave the thing in there for the test. A tune not only eliminates all these issues but also once it's done you can forget about it. As for why do the VLOM modification, check out this https://youtu.be/xFr8TxgxJow video. Prices: During the time of this post the average release trick runs about $600 and the average full delete including pulling oil pan runs about $4200. This includes all parts, shop supplies, and labor.
