So I've done this once before with another engine only it was the bolt style VLOM not the riveted one, I am currently working on one with riveted VLOM, in one of the videos you show a mod where the solenoids can just be removed instead of banging out the pieces of gasket, so I've done that but then I caught a mention in another video about having to put in resistors or something so the ecm stays in tune with the mod, what exactly needs to be wired after removing the solenoids?

Yeah, just remove them given the circumstances.
You won't need to do anything with resistors if the tune has AFM properly disabled. The only reason I mess around with removing solenoid's is to allow me to reduce shipping weight. I also add resistors to give the person who purchases it from me the option to drive it to a tuner shop if that's the option they choose.
