First I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing tool And info, you saved me thousands and my car runs great. I want to ask currently trading in or selling is currently not an option. After getting lifter to release, afm delete and vlom mod will the car be ok for the next year or two ? Or once this happens is another one on the way even after all the mods etc.

Great news!!! It was only drove to the nearest parking lot when it started knocking and I trailered it home. I didn’t know about collapsed lifter at that point until watching your videos but I did no know when my wife called me and I heard it over the phone I told her get to a parking lot and shut it off to reduce anymore damage. Thanks again man you are a life saver.
Typically you are good to go for many miles after the repair. If you drove on one with the issue for some time there is some reason for concern. There are 2 different lifter designs and one of them the roller will get damage on. This is because the inside section of the lifter bottoms out on the roller. This of course damages the camshaft. So if you didn't drive on it long with the knock, or it was cylinder 1/7 and you inspected for damage and found none, your good to go. At least until something else fails like the lifter spinning in the bore due to bad plastic guide. The good news is by disabling the system like you have with tune and VLOM mod you won't have the same failure type again.
